Welcome to R.C. Aces!
Our field is located off Mill Road and Deadwood Avenue in Black Hawk South Dakota. Click here for an aerial photograph of the field and driving directions.
Everyone is welcome. Whether you're interested in becoming a pilot or would just like to watch. Weekends are the best time to catch pilots at the field.
AMA is required, and we have an annual membership fee for those that wish to join the club.
We have several pilots that are trainer qualified, and will help you get qualified as a pilot in no time.
If you have the time please stop out to the field. If you have questions you can email us by using the "Contact Us" link in the "Navigation" block located on the left of the screen.

 wildman writes " I have recently finished and have been out flying This new OMP profile plane. I'm very impressed with this new version of their older kit built profile of the YAK 54 which a few of the guys including myself are still flying. All I can say is this new Profile YAK ARF is just awsome!!

muzman writes " I just wanted to thank the members that I met this weekend. I stopped by after a little park flying on Saturday to watch some good power flying. It was such a nice day for flying. When Sunday morning was looking to be the same I thought I would drive back out. I was even given the okay to fly one of my birds while there.
It's a great field! I will have to give membership some serious thought!
The plane I flew today carried a camera and I took some video. I thought I would share.

Indoor Fly-in |

muzman writes "We had our first indoor fly-in of the season in the Range Road Armory. We had a good turn out and everyone had fun.
There was quite a varity of aircraft, but the Blade CX2 and the foam Airhog style planes dominated the scene. There were a few pilots with the new Park Zone Cessna 210 Centurion. This is a very nice flying aircraft that flies very well within the confinments of the Armory.
